I’m excited to share the story behind the creation of this group. For many years, I’ve loved planning events, from family gatherings to weddings. My experience as the special events coordinator at LeTourneau University revealed that I could turn this passion into my own business.
Since 2018, I’ve had the joy of organizing events for clients, many of whom have become friends. When COVID-19 hit in 2020, our industry faced major challenges, and my business, like many others, was affected. To help revive our industry and support local businesses, I decided to establish a networking group in Longview. Despite my initial nerves, I reached out to fellow vendors—venues, florists, caterers—and was met with overwhelming enthusiasm. With their support, my vision came to life.
Now, as we celebrate five years of networking and collaboration, I want to express my gratitude to everyone who has contributed their time and resources. Together, we’re fostering lasting connections and ensuring our industry thrives!
